Dawson Hose Mo Bros Raise Over £1,000 For Movember

The Leadership Team at James Dawson – the global hose engineering firm based in Lincoln – have so far raised a fan-tash-tic £1056 for men’s cancer and mental health charity, Movember.

Each year, Movember asks men around the world to grow their moustaches from scratch for the entire month of November, to raise awareness for men’s health issues and vital funds for charities such as Prostate Cancer UK and the Institute of Cancer Research.

To support this cause, at the beginning of November the Dawson Hose Mo Bros put away their razors and let their moustaches grow au natural for the month. Since their campaign started they have raised over £1056, with donations still flooding in.

Paul Edwards, Managing Director at James Dawson – and Team Captain of the Dawson Hose Mo Bros – says “We’ve had great fun doing Movember and we’ve got a whole spectrum of moustaches to show for it – from the light and wispy to the big and bushy!

“The results have been the source of many laughs around the office, and we’re delighted we have managed to raise money for such a great cause with our terrible facial hair.”

James Dawson is a global engineering and manufacturing firm and one of Lincoln’s largest employers, employing more than 220 staff. The company has been manufacturing for over 115 years, and engineers advanced silicone and rubber industrial hoses and products for customers including CaterpillarJCB and Cummins.
